Australian Timber Slabs stock mainly comes from trees (some up to 800 years old) that have died or fallen as a result of past farmland clearing and natural occurrences such as storms, salinity, drought and floods. Only solid logs are reclaimed, ensuring minimal effect to our natural ecosystem. All logs are then cut to 'maximum recovery', creating less waste and utilising all available timber.

Salvaging ensures that we are making the most of dead trees which would otherwise be dumped, burned or left to rot. This approach will become compulsory for timber millers as old growth native timbers are scarce and precious.

We have hundreds of dry, natural edge slabs up to 4m long and 1.2 m wide in any thicknesses, as well as chunky posts and beams, or we will mill to order.
