Barefoot artisans are dedicated weavers and needlewomen who, without time constraints of mass production, are able to produce premium quality workmanship in a truly sustainable way. Barefoot opposes exploitive practices. Each artisan earns a living wage enabling them to support their families with self-respect and dignity.
HildaHilda is a Swedish textile weaving company specialising in a variety of premium jacquard-woven cotton textiles.
HildaHilda’s playful designs are hand drawn and woven using a unique weaving technique. Threads in different colours are woven in various combinations giving each fabric its own language of colour.
The fabrics are thick and tightly woven making them suitable for upholstery and soft furnishings. Design inspiration is drawn from nature, technology and urban living in Stockholm.
