Our natural Hemp & Linen fabric ranges offer a wide variety of weights, textures, colours, prints, and weaves. There are light weight fabrics ideal for curtaining as well as a large selection designed for fixed upholstery and loose covers. The Hemp & Linen fibres from which the fabrics are woven give a wonderful textural quality surpassing all other natural fabrics for both appearance and durability.

Hemp is an environmentally friendly fibre with a beautiful sheen, extremely strong and robust; its hollow fibres provide natural thermal insulating qualities.

 VAT DYED HEMP & LINEN TEXTILES

Hemptech fabrics and yarns are dyed with fade resistance vat dyes. The process of vat dyeing is technically demanding but is the premium dye system for natural fibre textiles and creates a fabric highly resilient to sunlight fading.

It’s for reasons such as this that Hemptech has been selected as a brand partner by Air New Zealand for the supply of fabrics for their updated Melbourne airport Koru Club lounge.

Hemptech’s fabrics have been specified and used by many luxury hotels and resorts throughout Australasia and the Pacific where the requirement has been for a natural fabric.
 
Our custom dyeing and textile design service is tailored for the commercial resort and hotel industry. Custom finishing is available on all fabrics in the range with only small minimum meterages required and short lead times.

Hemptech’s fabrics are available treated with Fire Retardant or Stain Repellent as is often required in commercial situations.

Natural Hemp fabric with its beautiful lustre and interesting texture is an ideal fabric for commercial situations due to its durability and resistance to fading.
