About Ingrid Ambrose

Ingrid Ambrose believes the role of an interior designer is to help clients create environments that are efficient and functional and at the same time an expression of their own personality.

“My first priority is to sit with my client and get a clear understanding of what they would like to achieve in terms of function and atmosphere and then guide them through the process. I don’t believe interior designers should take a dictatorial role.” Says Ingrid.

“It gives me enormous satisfaction to feel that I have given my clients the confidence to understand what they want and get the result they are happy with.”

Ingrid Ambrose has a broad based portfolio which includes commercial, retail and residential properties. She has refurbished multi million dollar residential properties as well as creating entire environments for new townhouses and offices.

She feels her strengths are her sound understanding of colour application and the ability to make spaces work efficiently and beautifully.

Ingrid has completed a wide variety of studies in various aspects of interior design including the Visual Art and Colour Consulting Diploma through the School of Colour and Design and the Diploma of Interior Design through the Sydney Academy of Interior Design.

Her services include: interior and exterior colour consulting, design solutions for presale presentation, furniture placement, room enhancement, kitchen and bathroom design. She is experienced in creating both traditional and modern environments as well as helping clients achieve their own individual style.
