Founded in 1973 with a simple philosophy, to supply the Wholesale Market with the best quality Cane Furniture, Cane Rattan Furniture, Cane Wicker furniture possible.

We have our own Indonesian Subsidiary and Factory (Philaustindo Cane Export CV), from where all Cane Furniture, Cane Rattan Furniture, Cane Wicker Furniture is either shipped to our Factory/Warehouse at Wetherill Park in Sydney or in full container loads direct to our indent customers throughout the world.

The establishment of our own overseas factory has enabled us to take control by ensuring that our craftsmen use only the best raw materials for the unique handcrafted pieces Islander is renowned for.

In an effort to safeguard the continuing well being of our environment and without putting it’s fragile balance at risk, we use only eco friendly raw materials from Rattan and sustainable reforested Timber Plantations.
