In 1999, Damian Barry, brothers Sacha & Jason Bogatai were discussing the logistics of setting up and running a wholesale business over coffee in Studio 64, the brothers’ then retail outlet. That casual conversation soon became a concept, and so the business SoundslikeHOME was launched.

With only 5 m3 of “sample” stock in the retail outlet, a small selection of stores were approached in August 1999. Shortly after this, a small range of furniture pieces were introduced with “contemporary living” in mind.

Now coming into our eighth year of operation, SoundslikeHOME is constantly sourcing new and innovative furniture pieces and homewares that are functional, stylish and contemporary. We offer quality products with simple clean lines, without elaborate intricate patterns. We constantly introduce new colour schemes and designs to suit the ever changing market.
