What is an Art Block?

An art block is created when a print is mounted onto board and then onto a 32mm stretcher frame. This is then painted and hand finished and the surface gel coated and sealed for protection. This technique enhances the piece, giving it the appearance of an original artwork.

What is an Art Extension?

An Art Extension is created when a print is mounted onto board and then adhered to a larger stretcher frame. The artist then creates a hand painted extension of the artwork onto the larger board thus extending the artwork and enhancing it's features. The surface is gel coated and sealed for protection.

What is a Reverse Frame?

After a print is mounted onto board it is then finished with a custom made timber frame which sits flush to the surface of the artwork. This gives the artwork a contemporary box-like appearance. The surface is gel coated and sealed for protection.
