We are a family owned and operated business, long established and with long term relationships with some of the finest metal workers, upholsterers and polishers which enables us to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Beclau was launched in 1993 in Maastricht in the Netherlands.
The business swiftly earned a reputation for making what others could not and established long term and close relationships with its clients. Furniture designs evolved in consultation with our own in-house designers and one-off custom pieces were manufactured.
Clients were and continue to be encouraged to visit our workshop to view the progress of their individually designed and crafted furniture pieces. A growing bespoke business developed with a client base extending throughout the UK, Germany, the Benelux and USA. In 2001 Beclau was honoured by its admission to the prestigious UK ‘Guild of Master Craftsmen’.
Returning to Australia in 2002, we have worked closely with the design community. As well as manufacturing custom furniture, we have also been commissioned for several large domestic and commercial fitouts. Our range includes our best finest pieces from Europe in addition to unique and ground breaking pieces developed with highly regarded Australian designers.
