Mike Cooper, Industrial Designer, Director, Design United
Mike Cooper began his design career as an industrial designer at Blue Sky Design in 1993 and completed an 18 month stint at Philips in the Netherlands 1998. Whilst at Philips he discovered there was a whole department of designers that fit in the space between graphic and industrial design. A committed team of designers that specialise in colours, graphics, materials and finishes. Design United was established in 2000 to fit in the same space in Australia - graphic designers who understand product and product designers who understand graphics.
The DIA are pleased to announce that Prue Royal, the founding director of the International School of Colour and Design, will MC the event. Please note that there will be an opportunity to view RIPE, the graduating show of the students from the International School of Colour and Design.
